I work as the web developer/designer for the University of Iowa Graduate College. I designed and built this site on the Drupal content management system.
Another Drupal site which I both designed and built, for the graduate Genetics program. Among other things, it features a Javascript slideshow on the home page.
Another Drupal site which I both designed and built, this one for the Carnegie Libraries in Iowa Project. It features a subtle Flash inset (the row of thumbnails under the header).
Another Drupal site which I both designed and built.
Another yet another Drupal site which I both designed and built. This site includes an extensive student/alumni directory as well as a very comprehensive cross-indexed directory of potential employers, their locations, and posted positions (login access only).
Another site built out from Photoshop templates, from the same designer as above. The challenge with this one was adapting off-the-shelf ASP e-commerce software. The software allowed for templating, but there were several features that had to be added to optimize the display of the inventory and to tailor the pricing structure to the unique product.
This site was built recently to showcase an artist's work. The paramount considerations were clean design and easy navigation. This site was originally a static HTML site but we converted it last year to Drupal.
This site utilizes the Drupal content management system to provide a clean, easily-navigated design, with an administrative Web interface that allows the site owners, a local youth organization, to update text and images. The theme is an open-source theme made available by RoopleTheme, with some minor modifications.
